Avatar Creation Station

Hello and welcome to the Avatar Creation Station. The place where forum members can share their avatar creations, or even help other players design their own new avatar.

Let me be the first to offer the following four "elemental orb" avatars, one for each of the HellFire Elements:

Nice work! Just a thought, what about some element-specific feature for the fire and earth avatars? Death has the skull, water has the frost-like effect around it, but fire and earth look plain and similar to each other. Maybe the fire orb could have a slight flaming look to it, and earth could have little bumps, spikes or vines around it? Just some ideas .

Yeah I also thought the death symbol could be brightened a little bit. It seems a bit darker than the other 3 (not sure if this was intentional or not). Likewise maybe the water symbol brightness could be reduced just a tad (maybe a slightly deeper blue as well).

Awesome! I'll work on the death and water/ice orbs soon. Tirrik, the purple orb on your avatar is wicked, would you mind if superimposed the skull on that?

Updated the orbs with a few small additions and more balance between the elements. If the original post still shows the old ones, a quick refresh of the page should show the changes. Corwin9s, thanks for including them on the forum!

where are the new pictures ?

The images at the beginning of the thread are the updated graphics. (I just saved over the original file location) There's really only subtle changes on the Water and Death Orbs, with the overall brightness balance being the main improvement.

Oh yeah? Crazy you recognized it then! I came across it on some blog post about DotA (or possibly LoL), so I just assumed it was from that game. Maybe it's a generic icon that's been re-used in several places.

Ok I have made a bunch of avatars for people to use if they would like to. If you want a particular creature turned into an avatar let me know and I'll do my best to do so! Each avatar has two styles, one with a glow and the other with a glow and a bevel on top so just choose which you want .















Edit: My personal favourites are the water mage ones. She is a card I would almost trade my soul for.. aha.
