Intro and question

Postby Spyder_V » Fri Feb 14, 2014 12:53 am

Hello everyone. I've been lurking the forums for a few weeks, but I wanted to go ahead and begin using these forums.

I have a collector mindset and I don't get rid of Cards until I evolve them fully. Due to this, I currently have 120 cards in my collection, which really cuts into my leveling.

I used the calculator to map out all my stage 3 cards with potential attack and hp as quick, 3+1, and royal evolutions, hoping to pick the cards I wanted to keep. Unfortunately, I can't.

How many cards is too many? What do y'all do when trying to evolve or level potential cards? Better yet, how do you decide which cards to keep?

EDIT: My current card list

Spyder...

Raid requires rewinders. Make them priority.

Punt any/all shifters, no use for them....yet.

Keep a healer in each color

Hitters, hitters with mass/multiple attack. And fast attack/lightning

That should get you started

Good to meet you! You have a great start

Thanks, chop!

I keep wanting to get rid of the shifters, but there's always the "what if they become useful later?" question in the back of my mind. I mostly quick evolve them just to get the collection side complete, though.

What is fast attack/lightning? Are those the cards which strike twice (Raijin)?

Spyder.

I have kept quick evolved shifters in each color/shift just in case. I tried one in a raid, it drove me batty trying to replan toss order on the fly and still go fast. Others are probably better than me.

Yes quick attacks like lightning in exorcist are useful in raid, esp if you try to steal in future. The damage over time and multi attacks take some extra real clock time. Time is precious in raid.

As you go forward, get your best rares to s3/max. Then bump them to s4. IMHO royal isn't worth it, and only used if the cards come one at a time. 3+1 is most used by my, with some 2+1+1 on SR/epics.

Good luck! Ready yo assist you as are many here.

Thanks for the different opinions.

I have kept all my s3 and under shifters, but ate my quick s4 shifters. At this point, getting rares/SRs is scary. I don't want to keep holding on to cards patiently waiting for repeats to 3+1 all my cards. :P
