Manchester Vs Birmingham

Which is better? Which is the second city ? Which is bigger, which one has the better skyline? Which one has the better peoole? Which one has the better food? I'm sure the biggest is Greater Manchester over "greater Birmingham" I noticed somewhere saying if all the boroughs merges together Greater Manchester as a city would be bigger than Chicago, that's pretty big init?

Please help.
